Things You Need To Bring During A Camp

Hi everyone, my video is about things you need to bring during a camp. I use Piktochart to create the DLO and Screencastify to record my work and myself reading it.

      At the first time that I saw the building, it's not yet done. There's no roof, and other things to complete the whole building, I only saw a building that is being build. As time passes, I watched this building for a lot of times and I got bored of watching it. But when the holiday come, I taught a lot of things that will happen in this building, I taught a building that will have a lot of room but not so exciting, then the holiday passed, I saw the building that is completely constructed. As I entered the first room, it doesn't look like in my expectations, waterfalls are different than before, tuck shop is gone, but there is a better one, the gym is bigger than before, library look like a business company with a big fan above, rooms are more exiting than before. I love everything about the whole building, I guess I'm not going to another school because HHS is more better than the others.

Community Agencies - I AM UNBREAKABLE

     Today in our kete we are about to create a piece of writing that is about community agencies, so I decided research about I AM UNBREAKABLE. I AM UNBREAKABLE is an inspirational tour campaign that occur to raise awareness around depression and concern with young people throughout New Zealand. It exists to build strength, resilience and to inspire hope, empowering young people to discover their identity and purpose. World Hip Hop Champion dance company teams up with NZ Top Artists to tour New Zealand to help raise awareness around depression and anxiety. It aims to give young people the tools that they need to cope with, as well as educate those closest to them, their family and friends on how to help.

Q3:  What causes sunburn in NZ to happen so quickly: How can it be prevented: what are the long term dangers of sunburn?

- There is an ozone hole over Antarctica which has grown so large it reaches southern parts of Australia, New Zealand, Chile, Argentina and South Africa. Also New Zealand's Ozone layer is very thin so the sun takes a shorter time to burn us compared to other areas of the world.

- Sun burn can be prevented by avoiding sun exposure between 10am - 2pm, Wearing protective clothing and wide brimmed hats and by regularly applying sunscreen.

- The long-term effects of repeated bouts of sunburn include premature wrinkling and an increased risk of skin cancer.

8 Bh Bake Sale Reflection

For our today's kete, we are about to bake something for somebody's who need help. All of us have different roles, others didn't bake but make some posters, others bake, and the others help cutting and plasticing. At first, we brainstorm our ideas and prepare for the sale. We bake different treats like fudge, lolly cake, cookies, cucpcakes, and banana cake. We started planning at Thursday, this day is the planning day. Then the next day is the baking day, my other classmates bake at school and the others are baking at their home. Monday, this is the day that we are plasticing the food that we bake. Tuesday, this is the day that we are selling our treats, we have some items that cost 50 cents and $1 for an item, $2 for small, $3 for medium and $4 for the large. We sold our treats for the total cost of $153.70. We are doing this project for fundraise, 24/7 workers, and families that needs help. We hope that we can help these people as soon as possible.
