So for our today's Maths, we are about to roll a dice and then record each numbers we got. We will need to create a chart in a google drawing. 

So we have a character named Shelly and her parents asked her if he would love to have $5 a week in a year or roll a dice in each week.

Option 1:  $5 a week

Option 2:  Roll a dice

Dice numbers:

1  -  $1
2  -  $2
3  -  $4
4  -  $5
5  -  $7
6  -  $10

So this are the numbers that we got. I worked with a partner to do this chart.



Question: Base on your experiment, what advice would you give to Shelley? How are you sure your advice is good?

- I think rolling a dice is better than receiving $5 a week. Because if we use probability, we are not sure what will we get, so rolling is better because for example, if you get number 6 you would have $10 which is double up by $5. 

Geometry Nets

In Maths, we have been working on the nets of 3D shapes. So we are about to create some 2 different pieces and 3D shapes and stick them together.

This task is a little bit hard. Because I haven't seen those shapes before, but I can do it. The only struggle in this task is the part of sticking your shapes together but they don't stick. It also stick in your hand and when you remove the glue the paper will get ripped. But I searched some information in google of how to do it but nothing is the same as our task. I never gave up doing it, until I reached the point that I stick them all together without any struggle. That's how I did my nets easily.

3 Countries Currency

For our maths, we are about to research the history of the New Zealand Currency. So our task is to create a DLO that shows my research in New Zealand Currency. I used Google Drawing to make this DLO. We are also about to create a DLO for the New Zealand two trading partners. So it means that I'm going to show you the DLO that I made in Australia and China.

Do You Like Reading Books In School?


Yes  -  I love Reading and it is really interesting. It helps me a lot because I can learn many words here.

No  -  I don't like reading because it makes me sleep.

Maybe  -  I'm not sure if I like it or not.
