Soundtrack of My Life

For our English lesson, we are about to create a slideshow about our soundtrack. So this is my slide show that I made. I think I spend my 4 English lessons to finish this slide show, it is because we don't have anytime to do this.

The World's Worst Children 2

Hi everyone, so I am about to post another blog post about our english reading. So I'm just continuing the book that I read before. The book is called The World's Worst Children 2 and I am about to explain the book to you.

The World's Worst Children 2

The World's Worst Children 2 is a book about children worst children in the world, it is not a real life book. So if you read this book, it is not a story only, it's a chapter by chapter book because the book tells you about many children that's why it is not a single story only. But there is only one meaning from all the stories, those children are the worst. The World's Worst Children 2 seems like real life than The World's Worst Children because the part one of the book are just fantasy, but The World's Worst Children 2 seems real.

Maths Group Learning

Yesterday, we did maths about a math problem which we did in groups. So the topic is about how many hand shakes will everyone get if there's 20 people in a room ( including you ). ( You can't repeat hand shakes ).

How Did We Solve The Problem: 

1  -  At first, we remove 1 from the 20 people because the 1 person is you.

2  -  Then, we make a diagram that shows 19 people above and 1 person ( you ). ( Circles represents person).

3  -  Then, you got to shake everyone hands and that is 19.

4  -  Then, the very first person above is the 2nd person to hand shakes everyone's hand and that will be 18 because he or she already handshake your hand that's why she or he can't shake your hand anymore.

5  -  The 2nd person at the top, will be the 3rd person to shake everyone's hand. He or she can't shake your hand and the 2nd person to try, because they already shakes your hand.

6  -  Keep the same process, until you got zero at the very end of the line.

7  -  Then record all the hand shakes that you have and the hand shakes that they have.

8  -  So it will be like this; 19 + 18 + 17 + 16 + 15 + 14 + 13 + 12 + 11 + 10 + 9 + 8 + 7 + 6 + 5 + 4 + 3 + 2 + 1 = 190

9  -  So the answer is, there are 190 hand shakes at the room

Te Whare Tapa Wha

For our Health lesson, we are about to create a house with the 4 dimensions ( haurora ) in it. So there are some questions that I have to answer for my blog:

Questions:

Q1: A conclusion on what the 'Whare Tapa Wha' is and how it illustrates Haurora:

- The ware tapa wha that were making is a marae. We decided to build a marae because it represents maori and the 4 Haurora.

Q2: How did you participate with others and how did you contribute to your team?

- I participated by searching the meanings of the 4 haurora. I also help to create some decorations for the marae that we're making

Q3: How did you cope with the team and how did you relate to others?

- It was challenging when my team mates are making the roof, because they can't measure the roof exactly by sticking to the wall but we tried to make another one and it is now exactly measured.

- I think I participated in our group because I did the work that I need to do.

- Next time, I'll try to think about the decorations or the design of the marae.

Music Performance

Today, I performed at my music class, it is not a choice. So there are some following questions that I need to answer for my music performance blog.

1)  What did you choose to perform and why?

-  I performed All of Me by John Legend because every time that I play piano, I am really relax.

2)  How did you feel about your performance?

-  I feel little bit nervous because I can't really play piano but luckily, I have courage to play All of Me.

3) What would you like to work on in music this year?

-  I would like to play Kiss The Rain or Fur Elise because it is more relaxing than the other song that I tried to piano

Science Experiment

Today, we have to create a blog post about our experiment. It is about how high will a tennis ball bounce back if I drop it, so let see the results.

Aim: To record the relationship between the height where the ball is dropped from, and the ball's first bounce

Equipment: Metre ruler, tennis ball

Hypothesis: I think the ball will not bounce that high, because we are about to use a tennis ball which is not good enough to use

Method:  ( My own opinion )

1.  Get a partner and make her or him hold the metre ruler

2.  Then drop the ball and make your partner record it.

3.  Keep repeating it.

Discussion: We talked about why did the ping pong ball bounces high. It is because it's a plastic.

Results: My hypothesis is wrong. It is because we didn't use a tennis ball, we used a ping pong ball. I think my teacher mean ping pong ball but I'm thinking about a tennis ball.

English Reading - # 2

                                                       English Book Reading  -  Day 2

Hi everyone, so this is the second day of my English Book Reading topic on my blog. Me and my classmates are about to read a book whether it is from library, from us or from our form room. So my teacher starts our lesson by reading a book first then share it on our blog.

So I read a book by David Walliams again. If you scroll down to my blog, you'll see that I read a book by David Walliams yesterday because I like his books. But this is a different book that I read, it's a book called " The Worlds Worst Children 2 ". It is my first time to read this book, because I use to read the part 1 of the book which is called " The Worlds Worst Children ". I'm at page 36 because I only started reading it today. This books seems fun, because it has different topics to read about. I hope I can finish this book so that I can read more books from David Walliams.

Hi everyone, so this is my very first blog for this  year. So this blog is about our reading in english. We are about to post on our blog what book did we read, then the book that I read is " Gansta Granny By David Walliams ".

Today, I read Gangsta Granny by David Walliams. I read it because I like his books and it is pretty interesting. I haven't read his other books but I read some of them and haven't finish them. But I already finished the book called " The Midnight Gang ", I read it because it is not a long book. So David Walliams book are good, they are one of the books that I enjoyed the most. But I haven't seen some of his books in personal but I hope I can read all his books as soon as possible.
